1. The Service
MathsTutor is an educational platform providing maths lessons, exercises, and progress tracking aligned with the UK National Curriculum from Key Stage 1 through GCSE (Key Stage 4). The Service is available via web browser and mobile applications.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
- One person per account — accounts are not transferable
- You may sign in using email/password or Google Sign-In
3. Children's Accounts
MathsTutor is designed for children aged 5 to 16. The following rules apply:
- Under 13: A parent or guardian must create the account and link it to their own parent account using our family linking feature. By doing so, the parent or guardian consents to the collection and use of the child's data as described in our Privacy Policy
- 13 to 17: Students may create their own accounts but we encourage parental oversight via family linking
- Parental controls: Parents can view their child's progress, manage settings, and request account deletion at any time
4. Subscriptions and Payments
- Premium plans are available on monthly or yearly billing cycles
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe — we never store your card details
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings — access continues until the end of the current billing period
- Multi-child discounts are applied automatically based on the number of children linked to your family account
- Prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT where applicable
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers
Refunds
If you are unsatisfied with the Service, contact us within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund. After this period, refunds are provided at our discretion on a case-by-case basis.
5. Free Tier
MathsTutor offers a free tier with daily exercise limits. Free access includes:
- Access to all key stages and topics

We may modify the free tier allowances at any time. Premium features such as unlimited exercises, full XP earning, and advanced difficulty levels require a paid subscription.
